JCD makes moving around your hard drive(s) very easy. Put JCD.EXE in a directory on the DOS path and type JCD at the dos prompt. It will read your directory structure and create a JCD.DAT file. After that it is as simple as typing JCD [directory_name] and you will be instantly placed into that directory. If there are a number of directories with the same name you will be given a list box to choose from. Type JCD /? for help and command syntax. ShareWare $10.

Prevent unauthorized access to your computer whilst you are away, and prevent anyone from altering, or seeing your files. It does not, however, prevent someone from booting from the floppy and getting into your machine. You can also include LOCKOUT in any batch files you may have written, placing the command LOCKOUT just before the command to run the program. This is version 1.00.21 of LANtastic Chat, a pre-release version. It is compatible with the NOS 5.x and 6.x DOS and Windows versions of chat. To install this program: 1. Unzip the file (using version 2.04g or later of PKUNZIP.EXE) into the LANtastic program directory. Two files, PMLTCHAT.EXE and PMLTCHAT.HLP must be in this directory. 2. Create a program object in the LANtastic folder on the desktop. This can be done by opening the Templates folder, and dragging a program template to the LANtastic folder. 3. In the Settings dialog for the new program object, set the program name to PMLTCHAT.EXE, then click on the General tab, and change the title to "LANtastic Chat".

PathWiz will add or subtract directories in your path. When you tell PathWiz to add a directory to your path, it first checks to see if it is already there. PathWiz also increases the usable size of your path to 512 bytes! (DOS normally gives you 127).

Change disk/directory: "do what I mean" You can specify all or part of the name of the directory you want to go to, and RCD will do it's best to figure out which directory you mean, and on which disk. If several possibilities, a selection window pops up.

Zutils is a collection of utilities able to deal with any combination of compressed and non-compressed files transparently. If any given file, including standard input, is compressed, its decompressed content is used. Compressed files are decompressed on the fly; no temporary files are created. These utilities are not wrapper scripts but safer and more efficient C++ programs. In particular the "--recursive" option is very efficient in those utilities supporting it. The provided utilities are zcat, zcmp, zdiff, zgrep, and ztest. The supported compressors are bzip2, gzip, lzip, and xz.
