This is the sort of thing that should not be surprising, but it actually is.

To be honest, a big part of the problem is that normal people has been so passive in the face of this war. It has been extremely one sided for nearly a decade because one of the factions has refused to acknowledge they were under attack.

It is something I have experienced personally, in that my friends would try to convince me into watching a movie, and when I told them that movie didn't fit my plans because it actively berated my demographic group, I would be labeled an extremist. They would go watch the movie without me, and more racially and politically charged movies would be made. And that was like 8 years ago.

A decade of paying people who hates you to make cultural products that make it clear you are the bad guy and have to be forcefully removed from society takes its toll. We have successfully normalized that idea to the point a big chunk of the population considers it desirable. Now normal people is waking up to the fact but we let the cancer spread so much before acting on it that it is starting to finally consume us. Recovering is going to need very hardcore chemotherapy.

kimmel willingly spread disinformation. And he has a comedy show for entertainment. what he did is not entertainment. he's a domestic terrorist that works on dividing our country.

I saw videos today of them clearing out all their stuff. They know they are not coming back. it's too bad those people lost their jobs because that fool likes to play these games. I liked him before he went political.

Well i think the real reason is his show was just horrible and he didn't care to improve it. he was so deranged he just kept on his trump talk.

he was in a long term decline and internet sez 72% loss of viewers from 2015 to today.

no it had nothing to do with that. it was a noticable decline due to how the show has changed. kimmel even mentioned it several times. he didn't care.

dude talked about trump and politics all the time. people get sick of that shit.

I watched his show for many years. I was there in the beginning. he had a bar in the audience and someone puked. they were deepfrying watches in a cooking segment. he got a warning to shape up and he did. then he became a good night talk show host and then it all went to shit.

In some cases, it may have. With some of the more awful things, it sounds
like the perpetrators must have been getting rhetoric from darker places
