I have 6 of my door games connected to bbslink. It runs fair most of the time. It offers my callers some games connected to other bbs's for more interactive fun. I notice it's more fun for me when calls are light. What do you think of inter bbs activity? Should all doors be local? It is not much of a draw for callers it seems. It does save wear and processor time on my bbs. I am trying to decide if it is worth it. 3 of bbs link doors have been unreachable for 24 hours now, is why I am pondering this. Have a great weekend. telnet://ricksbbs.synchro.net:23

I say whatever floats your boat, skipper!

At least if they are interbbs, then you don't have to go around making new accounts with umpteen million other bbs's just to play the games that you like

It offers my callers some games
connected to other bbs's for more

The nice thing is it gives people a
chance to compete against more players
than just those on your BBS. I have
these same thoughts when I notice them
    being down/unreachable. For some games,
it's worth it. Others, better to have
    local.

I was hesitant after I suddenly started getting line 116 unable to connect messages. After 3 or 4 tries it will connect with Bbslink.

BBSLINK has started working for me again. The squeaky wheel gets the grease or just coincidence? Have a great day all.

I was having trouble also, and it's now working. I had notified the
BBSLink operator and it seems he did something on that end to resolve
    it.

I like the idea. More contectivity for community and BBS stuff is great in my opinion.
Why not different storage types as well, and expand into distributed systems.

I don't think so. I know stability is alwasy a concern, but if the link doesn't affect the board when the link is down, it seems fine to me.
