  • %RESCAN omits REPLY kludg

    I've noticed a couple of times when issuing a %RESCAN to areafix that the delivered messages are missing REPLY kludges, breaking threading. Just curious if this by design or a bug?

    Probably neither: the original messages simply don't include a REPLY kludge (?).

    That might be a bug, if you can give me a specific example, I'll take a look.

    That might be a bug, if you can give me a specific example, I'll take
    a look.

    I'm not sure what kind of example I can offer. Just that on two seperate occassions I've rescanned a new network and saw replies wouldn't thread and were missing the reply kludge. New messages did.

    So what makes you think that the original message had a REPLY kludge?

    That could be true. I tried checking the headers on another couple of boards but one had a broken message lister and the other didn't have a show headers function. If it seems to happen again I'll try to collect more information about it.
